Future ChampioNZ Triathlon Festival 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that Tri-Sport Taupō is facilitating the return of Future ChampioNZ to Taupō this December – and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Our Future ChampioNZ Triathlon Festival brings together New Zealand’s finest junior triathletes to take part in three days of racing, workshops, and fun. Over the years, this festival was a highlight in Triathlon NZ’s national talent pathway, and this year the festival is also part of the TriNZ National Junior Series. The festival will be decided on points awarded during each separate event throughout the weekend. Overall festival placegetters will then be awarded points as part of the National Junior Series in line with TriNZ scoring.

This isn’t just about competition — it’s about giving young people a chance to grow, connect, and take the next step in their triathlon journey. We’re creating a space where athletes, parents, coaches, and the wider community can come together to support the future of our sport.

1.6km swim down the Waikato River and 1.2km run in Spa Park
